Marco Sachy is a PhD candidate in Critical Management Studies at University of Leicester School of Business. As a Distributed Ledger Technology designer since 2011, his work on Freecoin focuses on the nature of money, decentralized bottom-up trust management and complementary currency design, in two EU-funded projects: DCENT and PIE News. Finally, Marco is also active at the level of agile organization management within the context of the Internet of Energy.In the PIE News project, Marco works in the Commonfare platform, that is thought of as a way of complementing conventional welfare state measures with an innovative approach apt to harness the collaborative power of digital technologies for UE members.
