She is a militant Syrian blogger and activist, deeply involved in the Syrian uprising and the terrible civil war that continues ripping up the country, very openly reporting on the arrest of activists and human rights violations committed by the regime of Bashar al Assad. The Telegraph named her “emblematic and prominent activist blogger”. Amnesty International has declared her a prisoner of conscience. She continues writing in her blog.
