Founder of Civio Foundation, that seeks to promote a concept of active and engaged citizenship, focusing on information transparency and open data like campaing “Tu derecho a saber”, by developing technological applications and the creation of quality news content. He is also the creator of dondevanmisimpuestos.es for viewing the State Budget. David promoted #adoptaundiputado transparency initiative to facilitate access to the declarations of assets of Spanish parliamentarians, and has worked with journalists in the extraction and analysis of public data. Alongside mySociety and AccessInfo Europe, he has participated in the launch of the access to information European portal AsktheEU.org. It is also a member of Pro Bono Publico, and one of the organizers of the Challenge Abredatos 2011.
