Slim Amamou, born in 1977, is Ex-Secretary of State Tunisia for Sport and Youth. Known blogger for his positions in favor of neutrality and freedom of expression in the network, was an activist of the Pirate Party. Bachelor of Sousse University, who is an influential blogger and editor of ReadWriteWeb. From the online protests against censorship in Tunisia, a demonstration was organized on May 22, 2010. He was arrested during the protests that led to the Jasmine Revolution. After his release, on January 17, 2011 he was appointed Secretary of State for Sport and Youth in the new government of Tunisia.
