Raquel Isaula has been the national coordinator of the Sustainable Development Network of Honduras since 1995. Following the passage of Hurricane Mitch, this network was a key and pioneer in online emergency actions, it became the information center for civil society, it developed the first web page that informed the world about the hurricane, it increased the information transmitted through of discussion lists by email and virtual forums, among other actions. And it created a better platform for informative socialization among civil society organizations, the government, the financial community and international cooperation. With a background in sociology and agronomy, she is a Primary Education teacher with an emphasis on adult education. She has worked in different entities in training programs for Human Resources, Agricultural Extension, Rural Technology, Nutrition, among others.
